After reading for just five minutes into his 51-page speech, the governor had to jump to the last page as the opposition kept on disrupting his address to the House.
The moment Mukhi read about the government's commitment towards giving a clean and transparent administration, Congress and AIUDF members protested by shouting from their places.
The Congress members also displayed placards on various issues such as 'true' updating of NRC, making public the Naga Peace Accord, maintaining law and order, probing the recent violence Dima Hasao, restarting two paper mills and stopping coal syndicates.
After the Governor left the House, Speaker Hitendra Nath Goswami said the speech was considered to be read.
In his speech, Mukhi highlighted the government's activities.
