Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu lambasted opposition parties here today for creating "obstacles" in the way of development works taken up by the state government.
Addressing a huge gathering at Khajipeta, as part of the Janmabhoomi campaign in Kadapa district on Sunday, he said, "The Congress failed to develop the state for ten years and it is making a hue and cry at present for political mileage".
He alleged that opposition parties have been creating hurdles in implementing the Pattiseema project, meant to supply water to Rayalaseema by linking Godavari and Krishna rivers.
He told industrialists that a congenial atmosphere would be established by controlling unlawful elements and that 6,000 acres of land is ready to establish industries.
