Opposition parties joining hand won't affect BJP in UP: Khanna
Press Trust of India Jalandhar Even if all the parties and leaders in Uttar Pradesh rejected by voters join hand, it won't impact the BJP and the state's political situation, UP minister Suresh Kumar Khanna has said.
No formula of opposition is going to work in Uttar Pradesh... Only that of the BJP, (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be successful, he told PTI on the sidelines of a programme here.
The Samajwadi Party, the BSP and the Congress have been completely "rejected" by the people of Uttar Pradesh. Even if they come together, it will not affect the BJP, Khanna said.
The Uttar Pradesh's Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister was here to take part in an programme organised to mark third anniversary of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government.
