Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh today hit out at the opposition for playing a non-constructive role in the Assembly.
"They never gave any constructive suggestion," Hooda said while speaking on the concluding day of the monsoon session of the State Assembly here today.
Main opposition INLD staged a walkout attacking the ruling Congress on various fronts while BJP too staged a walkout earlier citing that the government was not prepared to take up and debate the "burning issues" facing the State.
"The opposition always wants to remain in news by staging walk outs," Hooda said.
He said that when he assumed office of Chief Minister for the first time in 2005, he had a vision to make Haryana an educated, healthy and prosperous state and his government took a number of steps to realise this dream.
He said that it was heartening that Haryana has made tremendous progress in all spheres during last few years.
