Lakeisha Holloway yesterday faced the charge of child abuse for having her three-year-old daughter in the car as the time of the incident on Sunday -- and a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.
According to the arrest report, Holloway told police she could not explain why she drove onto the sidewalk on the busy Las Vegas Strip, but "remembered a body bouncing off of her windshield, breaking it."
She also said she was stressed out on the day of the accident as she was trying to get some sleep with her daughter in her vehicle but kept getting turned away by security guards at the properties where she stopped.
On Monday police said, however, said that a drug expert believed Holloway was under "some sort of stimulant."

The Oregon native was estranged from her daughter's father and was homeless and had been living in her car in Las Vegas for the past week, police said.
Witnesses described a scene of mayhem as Holloway repeatedly drove her car onto the sidewalk at different spots on the busy Strip, smashing into pedestrians who unsuccessfully tried to stop her.
After the rampage, she drove to a nearby hotel and asked a valet parking attendant to call the emergency services, Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo said earlier.
Holloway is to make her first court appearance today.
