A total of 25 KVK scientists are participating in the programme being organised jointly by Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI), Bengaluru and Directorate of Extension Education, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, a release said.
The programme covers participatory rural appraisal in farmers' fields, sharing experiences of the scientists on conducting KVK mandated activities.
Dr Sreenath Dixit, Director, ATARI, emphasized the role of KVKs as an Innovative Institution in technology transfer to the farming community.
