"After the Chief Minister submitted resignation, we met Governor out of courtesy and respect. We thanked him. We did not have any discussion with him either related to politics or government," Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, who was Finance Minister in Reddy's Cabinet, told reporters here.
PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, who was the Transport Minister in the Cabinet, was among those who met the Governor, sources said.
Asked if he favoured imposition of President Rule or government formation in the state, Ramanarayana Reddy said he would abide by any decision given by the high command.
The meeting of the ministers with Governor assumed significance as it came amid talks that some of the Congress leaders are in favour of forming fresh government in the state.
The Governor has sent a report to the Centre following the resignation of Reddy as the Chief Minister in protest of the state's division.
The Governor has not asked Reddy to be the caretaker Chief Minister, Raj Bhavan sources said earlier, without elaborating further.
