Overall, around 62,000 centralised optical mark recognition (OMR) forms were sold offline at the 18 centres in the varsity campus while 64,000 aspirants registered online for various courses in two days, registering an increase of 25,000 compared to last year, a statement issued by the University said.
Today, 29,693 forms were sold and 11,859 filled-up forms were submitted at the designated centres among which Daulat Ram College recorded the most sales at 4,803 forms.
The smooth working of the website also helped reduce the rush at the centres compared to yesterday as many aspirants were forced to buy forms over the counter adding to the confusion and chaos on the first day.
The admission forms are available till June 16 at the 18 centres from 9 am to 1 pm and will be available online 24x7.
