"We continue to welcome Indians to experience Singapore's cultural and heritage gems, diverse food experiences and vibrant nightlife interspersed with Singapore's eclectic lifestyle offerings," Singapore Tourism Board Executive Director (South Asia, Middle East and Africa) Chee Pey Chang said in a release.
Chang said 2015 was a landmark year as Singapore also celebrated its Golden Jubilee.
Besides, he said the accreditation of Singapore Botanic Gardens as a UNESCO World Heritage site and opening of the National Gallery Singapore and Indian Heritage Centre last year generated great interest among Indian travellers.
