Abhimanyu was replying to a question asked by INLD MLA Jaswinder Singh Sandhu in the Vidhan Sabha here today.
He said out of the allotment of 5,222 plots made during April 1, 2005 to October 31, 2014, as many as 3,115 units have been implemented/started functioning.
The rest of the plots have either been surrendered by the allottees, resumed by the Corporation or are under implementation.
Apart from this, farmers are being encouraged to cultivate pulses. Efforts are also being made to ensure that farmers get the benefits of subsidy on farm implements directly, so as to put a check on the arbitrariness of companies.

The Agriculture Minister also apprised the House that two schemes, namely 'National Food Security Mission - Pulses' and 'Additional Area Coverage for Increasing Pulses Production Schemes' were being implemented on Central and State sharing (50:50) basis.
He said that the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board (HSAMB) provides marketing facilities for sale and purchase of pulses through various market committees in the State.
Replying to a question asked by INLD MLA, Ranbir Gangwa, about the present status of Ditch Drain Project adjacent to Yamuna river, the Minister said a sum of Rs 11.25 crore was spent on the construction of this drain to carry industrial and domestic waste of Yamunanagar.
