Hithawardhini Sabha, Naupada and Rotary Club are jointly organising the event under the auspices of Maharashtra and Thane district table tennis associations, state ranking table tennis tourney office bearer Yatin Tipnis said today.
Players from all over Maharashtra would participate in the event, which is a selection trial for Maharashtra Team, Tipnis said.
Madhurika Patkar and Mamta Prabhu, the Commonwealth silver medallists would also participate in the event alongwith other international stars like Pooja Sahasrabudhe, Aniket Koparkar and Sanil Shetty, he said
Cash prizes worth Rs 80,000 would be awarded to winners, he added.
