Over 80 pc complaints at 'CM window' redressed in Haryana

Haryana government today said that more than 88 per cent of the 1,836 complaints related to the Food and Supplies Department received at 'CM Window' across the state have been redressed and the remaining were under process.
Out of the complaints received from various districts, action report has been sent on 984 complaints and 634 complaints have been redressed, an official spokesman said.
"As many as 159 complaints are under process," he added.
Besides, 59 complaints have been sent for action and 36 would be soon be redressed, he said.
Maximum number of complaints have been received from Panipat district and out of these action is pending on only one complaint, he said.
Public Distribution System would be further strengthened and any kind of problem being faced by the people would be immediately resolved, he said.

He said the information on supply of foodgrains at depot would be sent on the mobile phones of consumers so that they could take their ration on time.
Besides, information related to supply of ration from godown to depot would also be available on Whatsapp.
Farmers would be given full payment through cheque for their produce like bajra and others, he said, adding, "This would help in checking corruption and provide relief to consumers from middlemen".
