Over two lakh pilgrims visit Vaishno Devi during Navratras

Over two lakh pilgrims have visited and paid their obeisance at the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi during Navaratras in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
As many as 2,37,825 pilgrims visited the holy town at Katra to pay obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi ji Shrine during the ongoing Navratras, an official of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) said.
On the 8th day of Navratra festival today about 17,400 pilgrims paid obeisance at the revered shrine while 25,806 yatris performed darshan of Shri Mata Vaishno devi ji on the 7th day of Navratra festival here yesterday, he said.
The district administration in collaboration with Tourism department and SMVDSB has put in place all necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of Navratra festival, the official said.
