Overcast, humid morning in Delhi

Delhiites woke up to an overcast, humid morning when the minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average temperature in the season.
The day ahead is forecast to be generally cloudy. Light rain and thundershowers are likely to occur later in the day, said a MeT department official.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.
In the past 24 hours, different parts of the city have received 5.5 mm rains, said the official.
The relative humidity at 8.30 AM was 89 per cent.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature settled at 35.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 26.5 degrees Celsius.
