The owners and workers of the units were on an indefinite strike from April two demanding payment of full wages as agreed to by textile manufacturers, in 2014.
As the talks convened by District Collector T N Hariharan remained inconclusive on April 17, the power loom owners announced a relay hunger strike from then, even as collector posted the talks for today.
Besides, Hariharan and Labour department officials, representatives of textile manufacturers and job working units from Coimbatore and Tirupur districts attended the meeting.
The date of resumption of operation of power loom units will be decided tomorrow after convening a general body meeting, he said.
