P Selvakumar takes over as NLC Director - Planning

State-run Neyveli Lignite Corporation today announced the appointment of P Selvakumar as its Director - Planning and Projects with immediate effect.
He replaces S Boopathy who attained superannuation as of December 31, 2015, the company said in a statement.

CIL appoints S N Prasad as Marketing Director
* S N Prasad has assumed the charge of Director, Marketing of state-owned CIL with effect from today.

"As per office memorandum issued by MoC, Shri S N Prasad has assumed the charge of Director (Marketing), CIL w.E.F. February 01, 2016 (forenoon)," CIL said in a filing to BSE.

The filing further said "B K Saxena, Director (Marketing), Coal India Ltd on attaining the age of superannuation relinquished the charge of Director (Marketing), Coal India Ltd with effect from January 31, 2016 (Afternoon)".

Richa Ind wins Rs 32 crore parking contract in Mussoorie * Construction and engineering firm Richa Industries has won a Rs 32 crore project from Uttarakhand government for building a multi-level car parking for PWD at Kingkreg in Mussoorie.
"The area of the building is approximately 11,000 sqmt. The multi-level car parking will have ground plus four floors with the total height of 20 meters. The project value is approximately Rs 32 crore," the company said in a statement.

"This is the first multi-level car parking project acquired by the company. It will be a ready to use building at the time of handover as entire interior and exterior of the project is under our scope. We are geared up to carry out the project effectively in the desired time frame at the challenging location," Richa Industries Joint MD, Sandeep Gupta said.

L N Mishra named as MCL's new personnel director * Lila Nand Mishra today assumed the charge of Director (Personnel) at Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a leading mining subsidiary of 'Maharatna' Coal India Limited.
Mishra, who took over as the fifth Director of the company, replaced P C Panigrahi, the company said in a statement.
V B Fadnavis appointed NTPC Regional Exec Director(South)
V B Fadnavis has taken over as Regional Executive Director (South) of NTPC Limited at Secunderabad in Hyderabad.
Prior to this, he was Executive Director of NTPC Sipat, NTPC said in a statement.
A graduate of mechanical engineering from Devi Ahilya Viswa Vidyalay, Indore and also an M-Tech in Thermal Engineering from IIT-D, Fadnavis had joined NTPC as Engineering Executive Trainee in 1979, it added.

DCB Bank buys 5.8% in Odisha's Annapurna Microfinance
DCB Bank today said it has bought 5.81 per cent equity in Odisha-based Annapurna Microfinance valued at Rs 9.99 crore.
"DCB Bank and Annapurna Microfinance announced today that DCB Bank has acquired an equity stake of 5.81 per cent of Rs 9.99 crore in Annapurna Microfianance", DCB Bank said in a release.
Annapurna is focussed in rural location of Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
"Annapurna and DCB Bank had a long relationship...The initiative of acquiring a strategic equity stake in Annapurna further strengthens our business partnership," it said.

Rays Power announces completion of solar project in Telangana * Rays Power Infra today announced the completion of a 10 MW solar PV for one of its client Haldiram's in Telangana.
The project was commissioned seven months before schedule, the company said in a statement.

The project was executed by Rays Power Infra on a turnkey basis, right from land acquisition till commissioning.
It also marks the entry of Haldiram's into the power sector with the successful performance ratio of not less than 79 per cent.

Monsanto to establish over 2500 sanitation units * Monsanto has partnered with an NGO for establishment of over 2,500 sanitation units across rural India.
Poor sanitation conditions continue to remain a critical challenge in India, particularly in the rural areas posing a grave danger to the security and dignity of women, the company said in a statement today.

"Monsanto has partnered with NGO Action for Food Production (AFPRO) for installation of over 2,500 sanitation units across rural India," it added.
As a part of this initiative Monsanto has a target of building more than 600 household toilets and 15 school sanitation units in government schools, it said.
