Monsanto to establish over 2500 sanitation units * Monsanto has partnered with an NGO for establishment of over 2,500 sanitation units across rural India.
Poor sanitation conditions continue to remain a critical challenge in India, particularly in the rural areas posing a grave danger to the security and dignity of women, the company said in a statement today.
As a part of this initiative Monsanto has a target of building more than 600 household toilets and 15 school sanitation units in government schools, it said.
