A senior officer of Lahore Police, who did not want to be named, said the three suspects had provided logistics and support to the suicide bombers and had been hiding in the tribal areas bordering Afghanistan.
All three are members of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, officer said.
The law enforcement agencies arrested the accused some time ago but their detention was announced today in connection with the second anniversary of the attack on the shrine.
Nearly 50 people were killed and over 200 injured when two suicide attackers blew themselves up within the shrine of Sufi saint Hazrat Ali Hajvari Data Gang Bhaksh on July 1, 2010.
The Sunni Tehrik organised a protest outside Data Darbar today and urged the government to arrest the those responsible for the attack.
