In the first incident, three people were killed today when a remote-controlled improvised explosive device targeting vehicle of a local political administrator exploded in South Waziristan Agency.
Farooq Khan, a political administrator in South Waziristan, was on his way to Wana Bazaar when his vehicle was targeted near Raghzai Road, killing him along with two tribesmen, an official said.
Meanwhile, at least seven persons were killed and many others injured late yesterday after a hand grenade went off in the middle of an election really in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bordering South Waziristan.
