"Militants operating from these camps keep targeting security forces and government installations," Inspector General of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, Major General Ejaz Shahid told a news conference where huge cache of arms and ammunition were seized in raids in the border town of Chaman and on the outskirts of Quetta.
The statement comes after Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch announced talks with all separatist groups in the troubled province to pave the way for negotiated settlements of all issues.
"Coordination between FC and other law enforcement agencies has been improved," he added.
He said the weapons seized by the FC at Chaman were being brought to carry out subversive activities in Baluchistan.
