Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, who has been invited by the State Government, said that Pakistan was committed to resolve the Kashmir issue but it was possible only through dialogue.

Appreciating the initiative of dialogue from both sides, he said that in such circumstances many issues could be resolved in cordial atmosphere.

Turning emotional about his visit to India, Wattoo said, "My ancestors used to live in Muazzam village near Fazilka where I was born. I still remember my childhood period when our family had to move to Pakistan.

"It was always my keen wish to have the glimpse of the village again and I feel blessed that the day has come at last," he quipped.

He said that first he would love to see the house where his family used to live, as the glimpses of streets during childhood were still fresh in his mind.

Wattoo, on his arrival, was accorded warm welcome by the Khadoor Sahib MP, Rattan Singh Ajnala and State cabinet minister Gulzar Singh Ranike, among others.
