Pak team takes tips of polio success from Nitish

The five-member delegation from Pakistan, who are here to observe the anti-polio campaign in Bihar, met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to be updated about the "ways" behind the success of the drive in the state.
The Pakistani delegation lavishly praised overall development in the state, particularly the successful run of campaign against polio in the minority-dominated pockets, an official statement said here.
The team from the neighbouring country learnt the details of the programme and told the chief minister that they saw the drive themselves when they visited some Muslim-dominated areas accompanying officials engaged in polio drive, the statement said.
They said they would adopt the "tactics" Bihar has followed for the success of polio campaign in their country.
The team members fondly remembered their interaction with Kumar when he had visited Pakistan in November last year.
Impressed with success of anti-polio campaign in Bihar, a team from Pakistan is here on the invitation of the chief minister.
The Pakistani team visited Samanpura in Raza Bazar area here yesterday to see for themselves the success of the programme among Muslim community.
The Pakistani team comprised former district president of Rotary club in Pakistan Shahab Balki and several doctors.
