LALA today organised a fashion show here where orphan girls joined models on the ramp.
The proceeds of the show will be used to support the cause.
"The Lala company will support us for girl child education. They will be buying sewing machines for the embroidery centre for our women empowerment unit. They will also donate the proceeds from the fashion show towards the girl child education," Shraddha Vedbrat, a Trustee with Samarpan Foundation here.
"The protection of female rights and promoting girl child is the prime motive of this association. LALA promises to extend lifelong support to Samarpan Foundation through all possible means," LALA CEO Pervez Lala said.
After starting as a simple trading house in 1947, LALA has grown to encompass four diverse retail brands providing accessible summer; mid summer and winter fabric ranges to ladies across Pakistan and internationally.
