Aidin Bazurgi, Mujtaba Jarahi and Pouya Kaywan were descending after climbing the 8,047-metre Broad Peak in Gilgit-Baltistan region when they reportedly got stuck at 7,800 metres on Wednesday.
Rescue efforts were launched after they informed their base camp that they were exhausted and short of food, Karar Haidri of the Alpine Club of Pakistan told PTI. They were listed as missing on Saturday.
"The rescue teams lost contact with the climbers on Saturday but the search to locate went on," said Haidri.
Haidri said the chances of the three climbers surviving were rare.

Bazurgi, Jarahi and Kaywan left the base camp on July 13 to scale the peak from a route on the southwest side and reached the summit three days later.
Pakistan is home of some of the world's tallest peaks and dozens of foreign mountaineers visit the country every year.
Last month, militants killed nine foreign climbers at the base camp of another peak in Gilgit-Baltistan.
