Hussain said if the government didn't take immediate steps to root out the Daish/ISIS influence, mindset and extremists from Pakistan this menace would spread quickly and would be more dangerous than even al-Qaeda and Taliban.
"Few years back the MQM kept on saying that the Taliban have become a grave danger for Pakistan and have entered Karachi but we were laughed off. Today we are again warning there is grave danger from Daish in Pakistan," Hussain said.
The MQM is the single largest party in Pakistan's biggest city Karachi and has dominated the political landscape of Sindh province for more than two decades now.
Meanwhile, police claimed to have killed three Tehreek-e-Taliban activists including a top commander in Karachi in the Sohrab Goth area on the outskirts of the city.
