Pakistan's Test and ODI captain Misbah-ul-Haq has feels that his team has the potential to win the final edition of the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in England in June.
Misbah said the upcoming Champions Trophy was very important tournament for the Pakistan team.
"Since 2009 Pakistan has not won a major ICC tournament and since this is the last time the ICC will organise the Champions Trophy we are keen to add this trophy to the Pakistan cricket shelf," Misbah said here.
He pointed out that Pakistan had managed to win the 50-overs 1992 World Cup, the World T20 in 2009 and also the Asia Cup last year but never lifted the Champions Trophy.
"It is an ICC tournament that has eluded us and we are preparing with a positive mind to go and win it in England," he said of the eight-nation event.
Pakistan has been clubbed with India, South Africa and the West Indies in the group stages of the tournament.

Misbah said Pakistan had the ODI team to win major titles even in English conditions.
"Having played in South Africa in much more difficult conditions and pitches I don't think we will struggle in England. The South Africa tour has made us mentally stronger and given us more self belief that we can win the Champions Trophy," he said.
"The South African series has been a big learning experience for all of us."
Misbah said that the absence of experienced pace bowler, Umar Gul would be felt in the Champions Trophy after the pacer was ruled out of the competition with a knee injury for which he will travel to Melbourne next month for a surgery.
"But it also means that it is a chance for other young bowlers to come into the team and do well," he said.
Misbah also said that a 10-day training camp for pacers with Wasim Akram in Karachi and then a conditioning and training camp in Abbotabad next month would prepare the players well for the Champions Trophy.
