An artist from Lahore, Pakistan, has painted a portrait of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who turned 67 today.
Actress-filmmaker, Pooja Bhatt, the eldest child of the "Arth" director, took to Twitter and shared a picture of Mohammed Saeed Ghani, the painter and her father, standing near the portrait.
"Mohammed Saeed Ghani, a painter from Lahore stayed up all night to paint this portrait of my father! Overwhelming," she captioned the picture.
Earlier, Bhatt's three daughters, Alia, Pooja and Shaheen expressed their love for him by posting birthday wishes on Twitter.
Born in 1948, Bhatt made his directorial debut with "Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain" in 1974 and rose to prominence with his 1982 critically-acclaimed film "Arth", followed by "Saaransh" in 1984, which was India's official entry for the 1985 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
He last produced Emraan Hashmi-Vidya Balan starrer "Hamari Adhuri Kahani", under Vishesh Films.
