Pakistani SIMs banned in Jaisalmer

The district administration has banned the use of Pakistani SIM cards in Jaisalmer to contain illegal activities along the Indo-Pak border here.
Mobile towers installed in Pakistan's border have strong signal connectivity with its local sim and hence it was necessary to ban it with immediate effect, an official said today quoting the district Collector and Magistrate Vishwa Mohan Sharma's order.
No person in Jaisalmer district would be allowed to use Pak's SIM, the order said.
