Pakistani Sufi singer regales audience

The young artiste, who is a rising star in Pakistan, cast a spell on the large audience including Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit with her rendition of the Sufi music at the Nehru park in Chanakyapuri.

Marvi is daughter of Sindhi folk and sufi singer Faqeer Ghulam Rasool.

The final day of the Bhakti Sangeet also witnessed performance by Silence of Soul band and Kabir Bhajans by Sitanath Biswas.

The spiritual performances with their enchanting hymns and soul-stirring vocals had the audience spell-bound.
