Traders said that mild demand from retailers mainly contributed to the rise in palmolein oil prices.
In the national capital, palmolein (RBD) palmolein (Kandla) oils were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,350 and Rs 5,400 per quintal respectively.
On the other hand, linseed oil in the non-edible section, fell by Rs 100 to Rs 8,800 per quintal.
