Palmolein oil prices fell further by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today as demand from retailers declined.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to move in a tight range on support and settled around previous levels.
Traders said decline in demand from retailers and sufficient supplies mainly kept pressure on palmolein oil prices.
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,000 and Rs 5,800 per quintal, respectively.
Following are today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
