Palmolein oil rises on scattered buying
Press Trust of India New Delhi Prices of palmolein oil rose by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oil and oilseeds market today on the back of scattered buying support from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to trade in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Some buying by retailers led to the rise in palmolein oil prices, marketmen said .
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,700 and Rs 5,600 per quintal respectively.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed Rs 2,950-3,050 and Groundnutseed Rs 2,150-2,900. Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) Rs 930-1,070.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) Rs 8,750, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) Rs 1,600-1,650, Mustard expeller (Dadri) Rs 7,000, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,200-1,250, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,250-1,350, sesame mill delivery Rs 8,000, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) Rs 6,700, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) Rs 6,400, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) Rs 4,300, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) Rs 5,600, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 5,700, Palmolein (Kandla) Rs 5,600 and Coconut (per tin) Rs 2,375-2,425.
Non-edible oils: Linseed Rs 8,400, Castor Rs 9,900-10,000, Neem Rs 5,350-5,450.
