Palmolein oil up on demand from retailers

Prices of palmolein rose by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on scattered demand from retailers.
In the non-edible section, linseed oil also moved up on increased offtake by consuming industries.
Traders said some demand from retailers mainly led to the rise in palmolein oil prices.
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils went up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,900 and Rs 5,700 per quintal, respectively.
Among non-edible, linseed oil traded higher by Rs 50 to Rs 8,050 per quintal.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustard seed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
