Castor and linseed oils, in the non-edible segment, also firmed up on the back of increased offtake by consuming industries.
Traders attributed the rise in palmolein oil prices to mild demand from retailers.
They said increased offtake by consuming industries helped castor and linseed oil prices to rise.
In the national capital, palmolein (RBD) and palmolein (Kandla) oils were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,200 and Rs 5,150 per quintal respectively.
