However, castor and linseed oils in the non-edible section ended higher on fresh buying support from consuming industries.
Traders said besides easing demand at existing levels, a weak global trend mainly led to decline in palmolein oil prices.
Palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils eased by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,900 and Rs 5,700 per quintal, respectively.
On the other hand, in the non-edible segment, castor and linseed oils moved up by Rs 50 each to Rs 9,700-9,800 and Rs 8,300 per quintal respectively.
