Palmolein oils up on pickup in demand
Press Trust of India New Delhi Palmolein prices edged higher by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on pickup in demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled at last levels.
Traders said mild demand from retailers mainly attributed the rise in palmolein oil prices.
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,600 and Rs 5,500 per quintal respectively.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed Rs 2,950-3,050 and Groundnutseed Rs 2,150-2,900. Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) Rs 930-1,070.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) Rs 8,700, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) Rs 1,575-1,625, Mustard expeller (Dadri) Rs 7,100, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,200-1,250, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,250-1,350, sesame mill delivery Rs 7,900, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) Rs 6,600, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) Rs 6,300, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) Rs 4,250, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) Rs 5,550, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 5,600, Palmolein (Kandla) Rs 5,500 and Coconut (per tin) Rs 2,375-2,425.
Non-edible oils: Linseed Rs 8,250, Castor Rs 9,800-9,900, Neem Rs 5,350-5,450.
