Coconut oil also ended higher.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.
Traders said pick-up in demand from retailers, mainly led to rise in palmolein oil prices.
In the national capital, palmolein (RBD) and palmolein (Kandla) oils were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,100 and Rs 6,150 per quintal respectively.
