However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said said subdued demand from retailers against ample stocks position mainly led to decline in palmolein and soyabean oil prices.
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils remained weak and shed another Rs 50 each to Rs 5,700 and Rs 5,750 per quintal.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils also traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 6,600 and Rs 6,300 per quintal.
