Marketmen said increased buying from retailers mainly led to rise in palmolein and soyabean oil prices.
In the national capital,palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,200 and Rs 5,800 per quintal respectively.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils also moved up by the same margin to Rs 7,100 and Rs 6,800 per quintal respectively.
