Panacea Biotec Q4 net at Rs 72 cr

Drug firm Panacea Biotec today reported a net profit of Rs 72.15 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2016.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 31.39 crore for the same period of previous fiscal.
However, net sales of the company declined to Rs 187.47 crore for the fourth quarter, compared to Rs 217.95 core in the January-March period of the previous fiscal, Panacea Biotec said in a regulatory filing.
For the year ended March 31, the company posted a net profit of Rs 87 lakh as against a net loss of Rs 65.23 crore in 2014-15.

Net sales of the company stood at Rs 619.66 crore for the year ended March 31, as compared to Rs 643.22 crore in the previous fiscal.
Panacea Biotec shares today ended at Rs 87 apiece on the BSE, up 1.10 per cent from their previous close.
