Environment Minister B Ramanath Rai and BJP members were locked in a wordy duel with both trading charges and at one point even moving menacingly towards each other.
Losing his cool in the midst of heated exchanges, Rai tried to barge towards opposition MLAs but he was stopped by Congress MLAs and Ministers.
Agitated by his action, BJP members also moved towards Rai's seat and were seen indulging in a wordy duel with him, with Opposition BJP leader Jagadish Shettar calling Rai's action as "goondagiri" and "unbecoming of a Minister".
Stalling House proceedings since yesterday, BJP has been demanding resignation of Bengaluru Development Minister K J George and action against A M Prasad (IG-Intelligence) and Pranab Mohanty (IGP-Lokayukta) who were named by Ganapathy in a local TV interview before his death, saying they would be responsible "if anything happens to me."

As Rai interrupted Bopaiah, BJP members objected to it, but the minister hit back asking who they were to question him.
Rai reminded Savadi that he was caught watching a blue film in the House when he was a minister in the Yeddyurappa ministry.
Savadi said, "I had resigned for my mistake, do you have the guts to ask Minister George to resign?" while another BJP MLA C T Ravi came to Savadi's rescue.
