Panneerselvam greets Guv Rao on birthday

Tamil Nadu caretaker Chief Minister O Panneerselvam extended his greetings to Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao on his 76th birthday today.
In his message to Rao, Panneerselvam said, "On the joyous occasion of your 76th birthday, I have great pleasure in conveying my warm greetings and best wishes to you."
"I pray that the Almighty may grant you a long and healthy life to serve the people," he said.
Earlier, AIADMK Rajya Sabha MP V Maithreyan, a supporter of the caretaker CM, met Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan here, sources close to the Panneerselvam camp said.

It was not immediately known what transpired at the meeting but it assumes significance in the wake of the power tussle between AIADMK General Secretary V K Sasikala and Panneerselvam.
Earlier in the day, Sasikala had also extended greetings to Rao with the party saying a bouquet of flowers was presented to the Governor on her behalf.
