Pantaloons reports loss of Rs 15.66 crore in Q3

Kishore Biyani-led Pantaloons Fashions and Retail Ltd today reported a net loss of Rs 15.66 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013 due to decline in net sales and other income.
The company had reported profit of Rs 20 lakh in the corresponding quarter a year ago, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
Pantaloons' net sales during the quarter under review declined to Rs 410.75 crore as against Rs 423.11 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Other income in the quarter stood at Rs 8.09 crore as against Rs 10.46 crore reported in the same quarter last year.

Shares of the company closed at Rs 84.25 apiece, down 0.30 per cent on the BSE.
