Panun Kashmir claims disinformation campaign against KPs

Panun Kashmir today alleged that a disinformation campaign was being run by the politico- administrative set-up of the state against the community of displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
"Panun Kashmir has taken a serious view of the disinformation campaign that has been unleashed by a section of the politico-administrative set-up in Jammu and Kashmir government," president of Panun Kashmir, Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, said here.
During a meeting of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the Kashmiri Pandits organisation, the party said, "The community, which has come on the roads because of the follies of the government, should have been on the top priority of a welfare state."

He said this disinformation campaign needs to be met resolutely by unleashing a consistent and vigorous campaign about the issues being faced by the community.
Chairman of the PAC of the organisation said the issue of resettlement of the community in Kashmir was alive and needed the attention of the government.
