Proceedings in both Houses were also disrupted as SP members slammed the government over Chinese incursions in Ladakh and Trinamool Congress accused the Centre of meting out step-motherly treatment to West Bengal.
While the Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day after one adjournment during Question Hour, Rajya Sabha witnessed two adjournments till 2 PM when it called it a day amid slogan-shouting by opposition members in the Well.
BJP was on the offensive soon after both Houses met for the day as its members trooped into the Well raising slogans like "Pradhan Mantri Isteefa do (Prime Minister resign)" and "kanoon mantri ko barkhast karo (Sack Law Minister)". They were joined by other opposition members.
As Lok Sabha met at noon after the first adjournment, BJP, Trinamool Congress, SP and Left members trooped into the Well raising slogans on their respective demands.

Similar scenes were witnessed in the Rajya Sabha with slogan shouting BJP members trooping into the Well demanding Prime Minister's resignation, forcing its adjournment first till noon and later till 2 PM.
