"We have been waiting for last nine months for justice to our daughter. These people should be hanged as they were so brutal to my daughter. Justice won't be done if they are not handed death sentence," said the girl's mother.
The brutal gangrape on a moving bus by six people including a juvenile had shook the nation prompting the government bring in stringent laws to deal with those involved in crime against women.
One of the accused Ram Singh was found hanging in his prison cell in high-security Tihar jail on March 12 while the juvenile involved in the crime was given three years term by the Juvenile Justice Board 10 days ago.
The father of the girl said the juvenile was held guilty on all counts of gangrape and murder but the Juvenile Justice Board had given him only three years detention in a reform home.
