Scores of parents of school students today took out an emblematic funeral procession here and burnt the school management's effigy for not rolling back tuition fee hike.
The funeral procession of Ram Kishan Institute's Management started from sector-23 here and culminated at the main gate of the school.
"The Institute is adamant on its decision of not to revert back the fee hike," said one of the protesting parents.
The parents were protesting under the banner of 'Abhibhavak Seva Samiti'.
"We will lock the gates of the Institute if their demand for taking back the hike of tuition fees is not accepted by the management," said the protesters.
However, head of the Institute's management Alok Garg said that the tuition fee has been hiked after a period of three years and the fees in this Institute is much less in comparison to other public schools in Ghaziabad.
