The 28-year-old "Mena Girls" star has been asked to complete the remaining 125 hours of her community service order by returning to work with youngsters at the Duffield Children's Center in Brooklyn, where she performed some voluntary tasks last year, reported Contactmusic.
Ahead of the planned visit, the school's Director of Early Childhood Education, Ivonne A Lopez, has contacted parents of children at Duffield to reassure them the star will be properly supervised while on the premises.
"Please know that all requirements for this volunteer work will be met, prior to her entering the classroom. Furthermore, volunteers are never left alone with children."
Lohan is attempting to carry out her remaining 125 hours of community service before a court-imposed deadline of May 28. The punishment is part of her sentence relating to a 2012 reckless driving case.
