Parliament adjourn till noon

Parliament was adjourned till noon today amid uproar over issues including Telangana, price rise and death of children in Muzaffarnagar relief camps in Uttar Pradesh.
Both Houses saw noisy scenes with members from different political parties trooping into the Well while raising their demands.
In Lok Sabha, BSP members displaying newspaper reports raised the issue of death of around 40 children in relief camps in Muzzafarnagar and came to the Well demanding action.
Seemandhra MPs, including YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy, were on their feet protesting creation of Telangana and demanded a united Andhra Pradesh.
Displaying placards, Shiv Sena members also stormed the Well saying no waiver should be allowed to industrial sector for bad loans.
DMK members demanded that India should take back Kachchatheevu island, under possession of Sri Lanka, for protection of Indian fishermen.

As members continued their protests, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House till noon.
In Rajya Sabha, as soon as the day's proceedings started, sloganeering SP and BSP members trooped into the Well raising the issue of price rise and death of children in Muzaffarnagar relief camps, respectively.
Chairman Hamid Ansari tried in vain to pacify members of the two political arch rivals from Uttar Pradesh.
Trinamool Congress members also stood up, but they could not be heard in the din.
Ansari then adjourned the House till noon.
