As Lok Sabha met for the day, Speaker Meira Kumar condoled the death of former member D K Audikesavulu from Chettur in Andhra Pradesh. She also referred to death of several people in a building collapse in Bangladesh.
After observing silence in their memory, members from different parties shouted slogans and walked into the Well.
BJD members were in the Well carrying placards demanding more funds for Odisha and special status to the state.
Left parties raised the chit fund issue of West Bengal and said deposits made by people in Saradha Group should be immediately refunded.

TMC members Kalyan Banerjee, Tapas Pal and Satabdi Roy too walked into the Well to counter the Left.
SP members protested the questioning of UP Minister Azam Khan at the Boston airport, while Congress MPs from Andhra Pradesh held placards demanding introduction of bill for Telangana statehood.
In the Rajya Sabha, SP members trooped into the Well to vent their anger over the questioning of Khan at Boston.
"America ki dadagiri nahi chalegi, nahi chalegi (America's high-handedness will not be tolerated)," SP members shouted.
