Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today dismissed talk of any threat from the Islamic State to his life or that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Last week, an anonymous postcard claimed to have been sent by terror group IS threatening to kill Prime Minister Modi and Parrikar was received at the Goa Secretariat.
When asked about it by reporters today, Parrikar was dismissive about any threat to him or Modi, saying "It (the threat) was (issued) on a 50 paise postcard."
Goa Police has circulated the letter to all police stations in the state and handed over the case to its Anti- Terrorist Squad.
